Jaski shows sculpture from 1948 by Constant on Tefaf 2017
On Tefaf 2017, Jaski Gallery showed a rare sculpture by Constant from 1948, which has been exhibited in several musea. The work measures 113 x 83 x 65 cm, is made from corrugated metal pipe and is titled ‘Entangled Bird’.
From the same artist we showed the famous series ‘La Guerre’ from 1950, eight lithographs with an edition of only 50, all measured 40 x 29 cm. We also exhibited an imposing oil on canvas by Karel Appel from 1965, titled ‘Garçon’ (146 x 114 cm).
We had important works from CoBrA-kunstenaars like Pierre Alechinsky, Eugène Brands, Hugo Claus, Corneille, Jacques Doucet, Asger Jorn, Lucebert, Carl-Henning Pedersen, Reinhoud, Anton Rooskens and Theo Wolvecamp as well.
This year, Tefaf 2017 took place from March 10 until March 19, like always in the MECC-buildings in Maastricht.
