Chris Berens • Gloedkompas, The Original Works • 21 February – 1 March, 2026
From Saturday 21 February until Sunday 1 March, 2026, Jaski presented an exhibition with the original Chris Berens-works for the project Gloedkompas.
Gloedkompas is an oracle deck created by writer Susan Smit and Chris Berens, published in 2025. While the imagery had already reached a wide audience, the original works had never before been shown publicly.
This exhibition presented, for the first and only time, the six original panel paintings created specifically for Gloedkompas. The works form a distinct and self-contained project, developed through close collaboration between Smit and Berens, in which image and text emerged in dialogue.
Alongside the panel paintings, a small selection of related works on paper was also shown.
