Tefaf Maastricht • Stand 510 • 14 March – 19 March, 2026

Jaski Gallery will once again participate at TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair), the world’s leading art and antiques fair. TEFAF Maastricht takes place from Saturday 14 March through Thursday 19 March 2026 at the MECC in Maastricht. You can find us at stand 510.

This year, Jaski Amsterdam will present two exceptional, museum-quality works by Constant Nieuwenhuys: the painting Figure Against Purple Background (1951) and the sculpture Entangled Bird (1948). Both originate from Constant’s pivotal CoBrA period. Shown together, the painting and sculpture offer a rare insight into his development—from the raw post-war imagery of the late 1940s and early 1950s toward the visionary ideas that would later culminate in New Babylon.

Constant (1920–2005) was a co-founder of the CoBrA group and one of the most progressive European artists of the post-war era.

Also on view at our stand is an exceptional Karel Appel drawing from 1949, previously exhibited at the Cobra Museum of Modern Art (Amstelveen) during the Miró & CoBrA exhibition in 2015.

In addition, we will present important CoBrA works by Pierre Alechinsky, Eugène Brands, Corneille, Asger Jorn, Anton Rooskens and Theo Wolvecamp.

Alongside CoBrA, our presentation will include the complete set of Queen Ntombi of Swaziland by Andy Warhol, a sculpture by Christo, and several prints by David Hockney.

TEFAF is open daily from 11:00 to 19:00.
