EXHIBITION ‘KAREL APPEL – ORIGINALS & PRINTS’
Until Sunday November 3, Jaski Art Gallery hosted the exhibition ‘Karel Appel – Original & Prints’.
Like the title suggests, we showed originals as well graphic works from Karel Appel. The official opening took place on Saturday October 19.
We exhibited works from different periods. The work on the right (mixed media on paper) is called ‘Resting frog’ and was made in 1978. We also exhibited ‘Two Figures’ (oil on panel) from 1968 and ‘Figure’ (oil on canvas) from 1972. The graphic works were very varied as well.
