JASKI SHOWS CHRIS BERENS’ NEW EXHIBITION ‘NENSHA’
Chris Berens’ travelling show ‘Nensha’ made a stop for two weeks at Jaski Art Gallery. The official opening took place on Sunday, February 16. It was possible to visit the exibition until Sunday, March 2.
‘Nensha’ made its debut in the famous Megumi Ogita Gallery in Tokio. After the two weeks at Jaski, the show moved on again, this time to the Japanmuseum Siebolthuis in Leiden (starting March 14).
During the official opening, the documentary ‘Chris Berens – Master of his Magical Universe’, was shown for the first time in our gallery. This film will be televised on May 29 by AVRO’s Close Up.
The RQB-group, responsible for producing and making the documentary, followed Chris Berens for a year, in The Netherlands as well as Japan. It is possible to purchase a dvd of the documentary at Jaski.
