New show Miguel Delie, presentation book ‘Happyland’
Again, Jaski Gallery presented a show with fascinating works from Miguel Delie, titled ‘Happyland’. The official opening of this exhibition took place on Saturday April 27. During this opening a new book with works from Miguel Delie was presented. The title of this book, which is published by Jaski Gallery, is also ‘Happyland’. It was possible to visit the show until Sunday May 6.
Miguel Delie lives and works in Torhout (Belgium). He studied at the Art Academy in Bruges andd then went to works as a stylist to develop and finance his art. Since five years, het concentrates entirely on his artistic skills.
“I adore trival things”< Delie states. "Banality and consumption have become a social norm, which I embrace as an artist. My work is based on dreams and impossible expectations. It is fleeing fears and arises from it. I create illusions."
